These Driver Terms of Service (“Driver Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Haulro platform as a driver, vehicle owner, or service provider (“Driver” or “you”). By registering as a Driver, you agree to be bound by these Driver Terms and Haulro’s general Terms of Service, which together form a binding agreement between you and Haulro Technologies Inc. (“Haulro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
a) Information You Provide
- Name, email address, phone number, billing address.
- Payment information (collected by our third-party processor, e.g., Stripe — Haulro does not store full payment card details).
- Driver’s licence details, vehicle information, and insurance documents (for Service Providers).
- Feedback, ratings, or messages you provide.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Device information (IP address, operating system, app version).
- Location data (pickup/drop-off, route tracking, nearby availability).
- Usage data (pages/screens viewed, time spent, clicks).
c) Information From Third Parties
- Background check results (for Drivers, if required).
- Identity verification services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve our Services.
- Match Customers with Drivers.
- Process payments and send receipts.
- Enable communication between Customers and Drivers.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Send important updates (e.g., policy changes, safety notices).
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers (Drivers/Movers): To complete your booking (e.g., name, pickup/drop-off location, phone number).
- Payment Processors (Stripe, etc.): To process transactions securely.
- Vendors/Partners: For services such as hosting, analytics, or customer support.
- Legal/Regulatory Authorities: If required by law or to protect safety, rights, or property.
- Business Transfers: If Haulro is acquired, merged, or sells assets, your information may be transferred.
4. Your Choices
- Account Information: You may update your account details in the app.
- Location Sharing: You can disable location services in your device settings, but this may limit functionality.
- Marketing Communications: You may unsubscribe from promotional emails or texts at any time.
- Account Deletion: You may request account deletion by contacting support@haulro.com.
5. Retention of Information
We retain personal information only as long as necessary:
- To provide our Services.
- To comply with legal and tax obligations.
- To resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
When no longer needed, information will be securely deleted or anonymized.
6. Security
- We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data.
- However, no system is 100% secure. Use of our Services is at your own risk.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed at children under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Haulro may store or process data outside of Canada (e.g., cloud providers in the U.S.). In such cases, information is subject to the laws of that country.
